Prices for a winter paragliding taster flight
In Valloire and Valmeinier in Savoie, we offer flights for children from 5 years old and for adults (max weight 90 kg). For each taster flight, a video recording can be made during the flight by the instructor. Take off in a tandem paraglider in Valmeinier and discover the unique sensation of gliding like a bird. Paragliding on skis in winter
Accompanied by a team of passionate professionals, take off gently by gliding with skis on your feet at the top of the Gros Crey Massif (2600 m) or the Sandonnière (2750 m) facing the aiguilles d’Arves. La Sandonnière take-off is the highest point of the Galibier-Thabor ski area. It’s the highest chairlift in the Maurienne.
Let yourself go and admire an exceptional panorama from the sky over the Maurienne valley.
If you’re an amateur of strong sensations: aerobatics, speed flying, piloting, whether you want a calm flight or a sensational flight, there is something for everyone.
Payment for the flight will be made only once the flight has ended.
For your safety, flights will only be carried out if the instructor considers that the meteorological conditions allow it. In the event of bad weather, flights will be cancelled or postponed according to your availability.
Immortalise your first flight ! As an option, we offer you a video recording of your flight that you can take home on an SD card provided by us.

The flight schedules
The “Valmineux” 700 m descent
Meeting point at 2600 m at the Envergure Chalet at the top of the Gros Crey chairlift.
The landing will be at the Haut de Station Valmeinier 1900.
The “Prestige” 1000 m descent
Meeting point at 2600 m at the Envergure Chalet at the top of the Gros Crey chairlift.
The landing will be at the departure of the Inversins chairlift, “aux Déserts”.
The “Must” 1200 m descent
Meeting point at 2750 m, the highest point of the ski area, to enjoy an exceptional landscape.
Landing will be at the departure of the Inversins chairlift, “aux Déserts”.
The longest flight that we propose allows you to take the time to observe the landscape, to understand paragliding, to make turns, to clear your mind.

The Valmineux
A gentle take-off, a breathtaking view, enjoy a great paragliding flight. Below you, skiers on the slopes, facing the Aiguilles d’Arves and the Barre des Ecrins. Above you, the tandem paragliding wing brings you new sensations. What an emotion when you approach the Valmeinier resort. It’s time to land, delicately, with skis on your feet and a light heart.
It is very easy to reach the resort after landing: only 50m of a green run to reach the top of the resort or the snow front with the “Jeux” chairlift.
The Prestige
A prestigious flight, guaranteed emotions, strong sensations. This longer flight gives you time to enjoy every moment of your tandem flight.
Our instructors will show you the rudiments of piloting, touching the snow, flying with birds of prey, pure freedom! After about ten minutes of gliding in the wind, we approach the landing so you’ll sit up in the harness as the ground gets closer and we gently arrive next to the Inversins chairlift. It’s easy to reach Valmeinier or Valloire from here as we are at the foot of the Crey du Quart mountain.
The Must
Inaugurated in December 2019, the Sandonnière chairlift makes Valmeinier the highest winter sports resort in the Maurienne Valley. From Valmeinier, take two ski lifts, including the Sandonnière chairlift, and you’re at an altitude of 2750 m ! The landscape here is exceptional, as if you were at the end of the earth, giving a taste of freedom, of grandeur, of immensity, with fresh snow all around.
You’ll have a breathtaking 360° view of the aiguilles d’Arves, the Barre des Ecrins , the Mont Thabor, the Grand Fourchon…
We’re at the highest point of the Galibier-Thabor ski area !
Our team of enthusiasts will take care of you. We’ll equip you, explain the flight procedure and answer any questions you might have there and then. In complete safety, you’ll gently glide along and will soon be up in the air !
You’re off on a 15 minute flight, in total freedom.
Open your eyes wide in front of the immensity of nature ! A grandiose landscape with a reassuring instructor. You can decide to touch the snow with the tip of your skis, make turns, pilot the paraglider… It’s an incredible feeling but so good to think you can fly like a bird ! You’ll delicately land close to the Inversins chairlift which allows you to return quickly to the Valmeinier Resort or to Valloire.
